Kansas (KS) has 768 ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) as defined by the US Census Bureau. This dataset covers all of them — from high-density urban ZIP codes in Wichita and Overland Park to rural and suburban areas across Kansas's Midwest geography.
Kansas centrally located with strong broadband coverage across rural areas. This makes accurate, ZIP-level data especially valuable for businesses and researchers focused on distribution network planning.
The demographic core of this dataset comes from the US Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates (2019–2023 vintage, published December 2024) — the gold standard for ZIP code-level statistics.
