Zippy's Challenge

The Goal

You have 60 seconds to identify as many ZIP codes as possible. Each ZIP's digits are revealed one at a time — the faster you answer, the more points you earn.

Each Round

• You get 10 seconds per ZIP code.
• All 5 digits start hidden. One new digit is revealed every 2 seconds.
• In Easy mode, digits appear left → right. In Hard mode, they appear in a random order.
• Type your answer and press Enter (or tap ↵). You can answer any time — don't wait for all 5 digits!
• No answer before time runs out? It counts as a miss.

What to Answer

You can answer the city, county, or state — whichever you know. More specific = more points. Spelling doesn't have to be perfect.

Scoring

Points = base value × seconds remaining when you answer.

The Strategy

Answer state immediately for a safe 9,000 pts — or wait for more digits and try for county (21,000) or city (30,000+). But don't wait too long: a last-second city answer (6,000 pts) scores less than a fast state answer!
